(KNSI) — A 35-year-old from St. Cloud is charged with two counts of criminal sexual conduct after police say he sexually assaulted two teen girls at his apartment.
According to the criminal complaint, the girls, who are both 15, say that on Saturday, they got a hold of Mowlid Muktar Osman, who had previously bought cigarettes for them. One of the girls said Osman picked them up and bought alcohol and cigarettes for them and then took them to his apartment, where they were smoking and drinking. The criminal complaint says Osman declared it was “time for sex” and took one of the girls to a bedroom where he assaulted her.
The other girl corroborated the other teen’s statement about what happened to her and said she had been drinking heavily when Osman took her to a bedroom and assaulted her, too.
The criminal complaint says that during taped phone calls between Osman and the teens, he admitted to having sex with both of them. During a sworn statement to police, he said he had sex with one of the girls but not the other because she was too young.
He has been charged with two counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct. Bail was set at $50,000 without conditions, $25,000 with conditions.
He is due back in court on December 6th.
