(KNSI) — A 58-year-old Little Falls man has died after a semi rollover Saturday morning.
The Minnesota State Patrol says Mark Edward Batters was driving a Peterbilt semi south on Interstate 494 near Valley View Road in Eden Prairie just after 7:00. Investigators say Batters, who was hauling potatoes at the time, drifted onto the right shoulder, causing the truck to drive into the ditch on the right hand side. The truck then rolled onto its roof.
Batters was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators say he was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash.
