(KNSI) — A 22-year-old man is jailed and facing drug and weapons charges after police carried out a search warrant at a home in St. Cloud Wednesday.
Investigators went to the home after receiving information that Andy Roberts was allegedly selling drugs out of the house.
According to the criminal complaint, during the search, police say they found a .9mm Springfield XDT pistol and a magazine of six .9mm rounds on a dresser near a wallet containing Roberts’s identification. It was also inside the bedroom where police say Roberts was when they went into the house. In the bedroom closet, the criminal complaint says there were four blue pills suspected to contain fentanyl. Police say they found 3.8 kilograms of marijuana and approximately 88.9 grams of suspected cocaine inside a trash bag in an upstairs hall closet.
Elsewhere in the house, investigators say they found approximately eight one ounce jars of suspected marijuana wax, additional bags of a “green leafy substance” that weighed around 530.5 grams, $1,303 in cash, and smaller amounts of suspected controlled substances and drug paraphernalia.
The criminal complaint says Roberts told investigators he was selling the drugs due to a previous debt after an earlier search warrant. In August, Roberts was hit with weapons and drug charges after allegedly selling cocaine to an investigator with the Central Minnesota Violent Offender Task Force.
New charges against Roberts include felony first-degree drug possession for the suspected cocaine, fifth-degree drug possession for the marijuana, and a weapons possession charge for having the gun while using drugs.
