Vets Get Free Rides on Veterans Day Aboard St. Cloud Metro Bus

(KNSI) – St. Cloud Metro bus offers free rides to veterans and current members of the armed services on Veterans Day. Metro Bus says the free rides will be available on all Metro Bus services.

Fixed Route, ConneX and Northstar Link customers must show their military ID when boarding. Dial-a-Ride customers should notify Metro Bus of a veteran or active military status when scheduling rides and show ID when boarding. Service-connected veterans also receive free rides on Fixed Route buses every day with proper identification.

Recently, Metro Bus received the Patriotic Employer Award from Employment Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) after being nominated by an employee. Metro Bus is also participating in this year’s Veterans Day Parade in downtown St. Cloud.
