(KNSI) – The watering ban in St. Joseph has ended. The city council approved lifting the ban effective immediately during Monday night’s meeting.
According to St. Joseph officials the odd/even watering schedule still applies, per city ordinance. Addresses with an even number can water on even-numbered days and properties with an odd-numbered address can water on odd-numbered days. The ban was out in effect in July due to extreme drought and declining water tables.
Sartell lifted its water ban last month and also went back to an odd/even watering schedule. Waite Park’s water ban remains in place. St. Cloud and Sauk Rapids have asked residents to conserve water and limit watering to once or twice per week.
