(KNSI) – Saint John’s University has been named the best college to attend for employment in Minnesota, again. The rankings by career website Zippia found that SJU had a 95.16% job placement rate. It was the fourth time in five years that SJU earned the top spot in Minnesota.
For the third year in a row, the College of Saint Benedict was second in the state with a 94.88% placement rate. Both the SJU and CSB placement rates were unchanged from 2020.
SJU was rated 10th in the nation for placement rate.
How did Zippia come up with the rankings?
Using data from the education department, Zippia searched for the college in each state with the highest listed job placement numbers ten years after graduation.
Zippia then sorted every college in the country from the highest employment levels to the lowest. Any college that did not have this data or suppressed it was excluded from the running. Zippia only looked at colleges that predominantly offer four-year degrees.
Zippia then selected the college with the highest employment rate in each state, rounding to the second decimal point for readability.
