(KNSI) – A car shuttle company is collecting donations in St. Cloud to help Afghan refugees who are arriving at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin.

Landline says it is using its vehicles to transport donated items from the Duluth, St. Cloud and Minneapolis-St. Paul airports to Fort McCoy.

“As Afghan evacuees arrive in Fort McCoy, Wisconsin, one of seven military bases processing them into the United States, most have little more than the clothes on their back,” says a statement from the company. “The Landline Company is asking the public to help make the refugees’ transition more comfortable by providing basic necessities or cash donations, which Landline is delivering to Fort McCoy.”

People can drop off donations at St. Cloud Regional Airport at the check-in counter. Some of the most needed items include modest clothing for men, women and children, diapers, formula, wet wipes, shelf-stable foods and hygiene products.

Landline has also launched a GoFundMe page so that the company can buy more supplies for refugees.
