Atwater Man Killed in ATV Crash

(KNSI) – One person is dead after an ATV crash in Kandiyohi County Saturday morning.

Officials were called to Genesee Township just after midnight for an ATV crash with unknown injuries. Kandiyohi County deputies found the man had been ejected off the vehicle and was partially pinned. They did free the man, and life saving measures were taken, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators say the 35-year-old Atwater man was driving the ATV when he lost control, causing the ATV to enter the north ditch before striking an approach. The ATV rolled and landed on its side.

His name was not released pending family notification.
