(KNSI) – A wind advisory is in effect until 3 p.m. for several west-central and southwest Minnesota counties, including Stearns, Kandiyohi and Meeker.
Winds with gusts up to 40 to 50 miles per hour are following the line of thunderstorms in the area.
The National Weather Service says to use extra caution while traveling and to secure outdoor objects at risk of being blown away.
