(KNSI) – The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for central Minnesota.
The watch includes Benton, Kandiyohi, Meeker, Morrison, Sherburne, Stearns and Wright Counties. The watch is in effect until 9:00 this morning.
Forecasters say high winds and small hail are possible with these cells. Have a way to get warnings if you are going to be away from a radio or television.
Damaging wind and large hail are possible as it passes through. Numerous warnings have been issued with this line of storms which will continue to push through this morning. Forecasters say to seek shelter on the lowest level of your home or business if you are in the path of this storm and a warning is issued for your location.
