(KNSI) – A 34-year-old St. Joseph woman was seriously injured after rolling an ATV on Saturday.
The Meeker County Sheriff’s Office says just before 6:00 p.m., they were called to a personal injury crash involving an ATV in Harvey Township, just north of Litchfield. When they arrived, they say Ashley Johnson had been driving an ATV, and as she approached Highway 22 from a county road, the ATV rolled. The woman suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to St. Cloud Hospital for treatment.
Two men who were traveling with her on separate ATVs were not hurt, but police say the two were arrested for impaired driving. They were taken to the Meeker County jail.
Police say the investigation is still active.
