(KNSI) – The Wright County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to find the person who robbed the Subway Restaurant in Delano Sunday night.
According to the sheriff’s department, about 8:15 p.m., a Subway employee called 911 to say a man came into the store and implied they had a weapon and demanded money. Police arrived at the restaurant at 625 Babcock Boulevard East in Delano and spoke with employees and witnesses to get a description of the suspect. They also canvassed the area, and the Minnesota State Patrol Air Unit was called in but turned up nothing. The suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of money. No one was hurt.
Police say they are looking for a white male, possibly in their 50’s, about 5’10” with a larger build. They say he was wearing a white medical mask and fled on foot.
