(KNSI) – Two people are dead after a crash on Highway 10 Saturday morning.

The Minnesota State Patrol says about 10:50, a Lincoln Aviator SUV driven by 37-year-old Luke Ahrens of Webster City, Iowa was going north on Highway 10 at 113th Street in Little Falls Township when a Buick Encore drove into his path.

The Buick was hit on its passenger side. The driver, 85-year-old Margaret Schmitz, and 46-year-old Loren Schmitz both died. Ahrens, his passenger, Lea Ahrens, and two children all suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Crash investigators say everyone was wearing their seatbelts, and the road surface was wet at the time.
