Woman Injured in Crash With Road Grader

(KNSI) – A 62-year-old Iowa woman was seriously injured in a crash with a road grader Wednesday morning.

The Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office says just before 11:30, they were called to the crash in Genesee Township near Atwater. They say Mary Crowley of Walford, Iowa failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of 15th Avenue Southeast and County Road 4 and crashed into the road grader.

The road grader was driven by 46-year-old Kirk Elton of Kandiyohi. He was not injured.

Crowley suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries. She was airlifted from the scene for treatment.
