(KNSI) – No one was injured after a light fixture caught fire in a St. Cloud home on Wednesday evening.

The St. Cloud Fire Department responded to the fire in the 700 block of 10th Avenue North at 5:40 p.m. and found that a small fire was burning in an upstairs bedroom.

The fire department says the fire was caused by a light fixture that was in contact with clothing.

No one was hurt during the fire and the family was able to stay in their home after the fire. Smoke and fire damage to the room is estimated at $3,000.
