(KNSI) – A 58-year-old St. Cloud man was arrested Sunday after allegedly kicking open a door and assaulting two women.

Police say they were called to a home on the 100 block of East St. Germain Street about 5:00 p.m. for a burglary and assault in progress. Two women at the home say Antoine Redd kicked open a door, yelled at her, grabbed her by the head and neck, and threw her across the room.

The woman then told police Redd headed for a bedroom where he found another woman, grabbed her by the hair, and dragged her. She said he asked where her husband was and said he owed him money.

The first woman managed to escape and call the police and said Redd left before officers arrived. Officers say they found a man matching Redd’s description walking nearby. Both women identified the man as Redd.

He was arrested and booked into the Benton County jail, where he was charged with two counts of first-degree felony burglary and four counts of misdemeanor assault.
