(KNSI) – A gas station fire near Buckman is under investigation by the Minnesota Fire Marshal’s office.
The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office says firefighters were called to the Trails Edge Food and Fuel on Highway 25, just south of Buckman, around 10:15 on Thursday morning.
When deputies arrived, smoke and fire was coming out of the
north and west sides of the building.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, people were inside the building when the fire started, but everyone could escape without injury.
The Pierz and Royalton Fire Departments responded and put out the flames.
The exact cause of the fire hasn’t been determined.
The State Fire Marshal’s office was notified and will be conducting an investigation.
