(KNSI) – One of Central Minnesota’s newest entertainment venues will officially open to the public next month.

The Ledge Ampitheater in Waite Park is holding a ribbon-cutting ceremony and open house on July 13th.

The open house will take place from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., with the ribbon-cutting ceremony at 5 p.m.

The first concert at The Ledge will feature the band The Rock Gods, who will open the new outdoor entertainment venue on July 16th at 8 p.m.

The tribute band describes itself as an “authentic salute to Rock and Roll’s legendary acts including Van Halen, Def Leppard, Guns N’ Roses, Bon Jovi, Ozzy, Kiss, AC/DC, Alice Cooper, Motley Crue, Poison and more.”

Advance tickets are $27.50 and are now on sale.

Other events at The Ledge this summer include a production of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella by GREAT Theatre July 22nd through the 24th and a concert by the Beach Boys on August 11th.
