(KNSI) – The body of a missing swimmer has been recovered from Big Kandiyohi Lake.
The Kandiyohi Sheriff’s Office found 32-year-old Martin Gonzalez Jr of Danube on Wednesday morning.
Gonzalez was swimming from a boat with friends on Sunday when he went missing in the water. He wasn’t wearing a life vest.
Big Kandiyohi Lake is about seven miles south of Willmar.
