(KNSI) – The National Weather Service has issued a fire weather watch for Friday.
High temperatures will be in the 90’s, and some areas could even reach triple digits as a hot, dry air mass moves in. While relative humidity will keep the heat index values in check, it also means the combination of abnormally high heat, low relative humidity values, breezy winds, and dry fuels may create dangerous fire weather conditions.
The fire weather watch extends along and west of a line from Lake Mille Lacs to St. Cloud to Litchfield to Granite Falls.
