(KNSI) – Officials have released the name of a Sartell man shot earlier this week in LeSauk Township.
According to the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, 57-year-old Alex Mallet was shot in the neck outside a home in the 32000-block of River Oaks Lane at 4:51 a.m. on Tuesday.
Mallett was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital. He is currently in stable condition.
No other information about the shooting was released.
KNSI News reached out to Sheriff Steve Soyka who stated the shooting is an active and ongoing investigation and no other details could be released at this time.
He stated that the public is not in any danger due to this incident.
