(KNSI) – Following a wild night of weather Wednesday night in southern Minnesota, round two could come later Thursday.
As a warm, humid air mass moved in, it set off thunderstorms that spawned a few tornadoes in southern Minnesota. Damage reports included several downed trees.
Much of the state is in the marginal risk area for severe weather Thursday. Forecasters say tornadoes are possible, and there is a chance for heavy rain, which could touch off flash flooding as well as high winds.
Forecasters say have a way to get watches and warnings if you’re planning on being away from a radio or television.
