(KNSI) – A 91-year-old Buffalo woman died after a two-vehicle crash on Highway 25 in Buffalo Thursday morning.

The Minnesota State Patrol says a 2002 Buick LeSabre was heading north on Highway 25 and turning left into the Walmart parking lot at John Ause Memorial Drive when it collided with a southbound 2025 Ford Econoline bus. The crash happened around 10:45 a.m.

The Buick’s passenger, Laura Hoffman, was killed. The driver, 96-year-old Floyd Sawatzke of Maple Lake, was taken to Buffalo Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the bus, a 29-year-old from Big Lake, was not hurt.

Buffalo police and Allina ambulance crews also responded.
