(KNSI) – It’s not just for the shower or behind the wheel. Show off those talents at Sing As You Are, a free community songfest where you’re part of the choir.
Anne McCarney, board member and co-chair of the planning committee with the Minnesota Center Chorale, encourages one and all to rekindle that love of singing, saying “I think singing is for everybody and I think there are so many people in the world who say, you know, I can’t sing, or I don’t have time to sing, or I haven’t been a singer since I was in high school. I think that’s one of the things that we wanted to address with our event Sing As You Are.”
Sing As You Are takes place Saturday, October 3 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Sauk Rapids High School Performing Arts Center. All ages and skill levels are welcome. No experience is necessary. Pre-registration is recommended. Learn more or sign up here.
