Waite Park Cash Wise Sells $100,000 Winning Money Scratch Ticket

(KNSI) – A $100,000 top-prize ticket sold at the Cash Wise Foods in Waite Park has been claimed.

The Minnesota Lottery says the winning ticket came from the Money scratch game, and the prize was claimed on September 1st.

Money is a $50 ticket that went on sale in August of 2025. The game was printed with 50 top prizes of $100,000. The Lottery puts the overall odds of winning any prize on the game at 1 in 2.76, the best odds of any active scratch game in the state.

It is the second $100,000 Money prize claimed in Minnesota in about three weeks. A ticket sold at a Cub Foods in Maple Grove was claimed on August 14th.

The Lottery lists winners by the store that sold the ticket, not by the buyer’s hometown, so the winner may or may not be from the St. Cloud area.
