(KNSI) – Every graduate student in St. Cloud State University’s applied behavior analysis program passed the Board Certified Behavior Analyst certification exam on the first try.
All 22 students cleared the exam on their initial attempt, far outpacing the national first-attempt pass rate of 51% in 2025.
“We continue to be a top-ranked choice because of our high-quality faculty and dedicated students,” said ABA Professor Dr. Ben Witts. “We routinely outperform doctoral programs in certification outcomes.”
SCSU launched the ABA program in 1982, and it has been accredited by the Association for Behavior Analysis International since 1999. Both the on-campus and online master’s programs received seven-year accreditation in 2025, the maximum term ABAI accreditors grant.
The programs train students in the science of behavior to work with a range of client populations, including people diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and developmental disabilities.
