(KNSI) – There’s new funding for housing, the arts, and youth initiatives thanks to the Central Minnesota Community Foundation. The CMCF has awarded $190,000 to 16 local organizations through three competitive grant rounds. The support initiatives that strengthen housing stability, expand access to the arts, and improve opportunities for young people throughout Central Minnesota.
Tailor Doeden, Director of Community Engagement for the Central Minnesota Community Foundation says, “The generosity of our fundholders, donors, and community partners makes these grant opportunities possible. Together, we are investing in organizations that are creating meaningful change, meeting critical community needs, and building a stronger Central Minnesota for today and for future generations.”
Area grant recipients include the St. Cloud Downtown Alliance, the Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin, and Lutheran Social Services. Since 1985, The Central Minnesota Community Foundation has awarded over $175 million in grants to non-profits.
