(KNSI) – It’s time to celebrate summer this weekend in Cold Spring.
Hometown Proud Days gets underway today and runs through Saturday.
The town eases into things with garage sales and a book sale today. The kids are busy with a pedal tractor pull, plus the turtle race and kiddie parade on Friday. Saturday starts with the Red River Run and the 46th annual Cars by the Creek car show.
The festival wouldn’t be complete without the watermelon eating contest and chicken bingo. Big kids can enjoy the beer garden and food stands both days. Plenty of food fills out the festival along with live music both nights. See the full lineup here.
