Water Wonders Event Invites Kids to Make a Splash with Science at Great River Children’s Museum

(KNSI) — Local families have a chance to dive into the science of Central Minnesota’s waterways this weekend.

The Great River Children’s Museum is teaming up with the City of St. Cloud and the Sauk River Watershed District to host Water Wonders, a hands-on event focused on environmental discovery.

The event aims to make environmental science engaging for kids through interactive activities centered on stormwater, river ecosystems, and wildlife habitats. Organizers say the goal is to highlight the important role water plays in shaping the local community.

In addition to the specialized water activities, attendees will have full access to the museum’s standard exhibits and play spaces.

Water Wonders is Saturday, July 11th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the museum. Tickets are $14. Learn more and get the link here.
