(KNSI) – The Stearns County Board of Commissioners has announced four finalists for its County Administrator position.
The finalists are Scott Areneson, County Administrator for Goodhue County; Andrew Letson, County Administrator for Meeker County; Matthew Staehling, Human Resources Director and former City Administrator for St. Cloud; and Patrick Christopherson, Town Administrator for White Bear Township. All four are vying to replace outgoing County Administrator Michael Williams, who is retiring in July.
The county received 32 applications for the position, 16 of which came from out-of-state applicants. Ten individuals were identified as potential semi-finalists. After further board review, the field was narrowed to four.
The board is scheduled to conduct its final round of interviews on Wednesday, July 15.
