(KNSI) – St. Cloud State University has partnered with the Great River Children’s Museum to develop a new interactive exhibit called “Sound Seekers,” which opens Saturday.
The exhibit focuses on how animals eavesdrop on communication signals to survive and reproduce. It also features a range of activities that let visitors experience how scientists investigate questions in animal communication.
Haeinn Lee, an associate professor of graphic design at SCSU, served as the lead designer for the exhibit, working alongside several SCSU students. The University of Minnesota and St. Olaf College also helped develop the exhibit.
The exhibit opens on Saturday, June 20th, with an opening reception scheduled from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on July 11th. “Sound Seekers” will run through August 31st.
