St. Cloud Announces Wednesday Road Closures for Summertime by George

(KNSI) – Motorists in downtown St. Cloud should expect a series of evening road closures this summer as the city hosts its weekly Summertime by George events at Eastman Park.

According to the City Engineer’s Office, two stretches of road will close from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on nine Wednesdays beginning June 17th and running through August 12th.

The affected roads are 12th Avenue South between 2nd Street South and 7th Street South, and 7th Street South between 12th Avenue South and East Lake Boulevard.

Drivers are encouraged to seek alternate routes during those evening hours and to watch for posted detour and event signage near Lake George.

The closures are scheduled for the following dates:

Wednesday, June 17th
Wednesday, June 24th
Wednesday, July 1st
Wednesday, July 8th
Wednesday, July 15th
Wednesday, July 22nd
Wednesday, July 29th
Wednesday, August 5th
Wednesday, August 12th
