(KNSI) – Elementary and middle school students who want to learn the basics of babysitting for the first time will finally get their chance.
Sauk Rapids-Rice High School will host a hands-on babysitting clinic from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 25. The clinic is open to students in grades 5-8 and will be taught by district nurse Amanda Pflipsen.
Activities will include basic first aid, fire and weather safety, child development and more. Students will receive a handbook and a certificate of completion upon completing the course.
Registration costs $20 per student and can be completed on the Sauk Rapids-Rice Public Schools Community Education website.
