(KNSI) – The Stearns History Museum and Stearns County Parks are partnering this summer to offer a series dedicated to hiking enthusiasts.

Called Hiking Through History, the program will feature several guided hikes at different parks. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about the parks’ natural wonders and ecosystems, as well as local history. Each hike will be between 1 and 1.5 miles.

The series will begin with a hike at Kraemer Lake/Wildwood County Park at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 11. Subsequent hikes will be held at Quarry Park at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 9, Warner Park at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 13, and Rockville County Park at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 10.
