Stearns History Museum To Host 1970s Car Show

(KNSI) – If you’re a fan of classic cars and celebrating history, then the Stearns History Museum has just the event for you.

The museum will kick off the summer season with a 1970s car show from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 4. The show will be held in honor of the United States Bicentennial, a series of celebrations and observances during the mid-1970s that paid tribute to the historical events leading up to the country’s founding.

In addition to cars, beer and pizza will be served, with classic ’70s music playing throughout the event. The event is free to attend; however, those interested in registering their car must pay a $10 fee. Registration can be done by contacting Program Director Caitlin Carlson at ccarlson@stearns-museum.org or by calling the museum at 320-253-8424.
