(KNSI) – Two young children were reunited with a parent after walking away from their home in Foley.
Just before 7:00 Tuesday morning, staff at the Coborn’s grocery store called police to report that two little shoppers were inside and appeared to be alone. According to Foley Police Chief Katie McMillin, the children told police they walked to the store to buy food.
Officers arrived and found the two kids, both under the age of five. They had slipped out of the home without their parent’s knowledge. The children were brought the short distance back home safely.
