(KNSI) – The Waite Park Police Department is offering a Home Alone Safety Class for kids ages nine through 12 this summer.
The class is scheduled for Tuesday, June 23rd, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Community Park Pavilion, 151 13th Avenue North in Waite Park.
The $20 cost includes lunch, snacks, and supplies. Topics covered include kitchen safety, online safety, fire safety, severe weather, basic first aid, calling 911, and activities to keep kids entertained when home alone.
Space is limited to 20 students. The registration deadline is Tuesday, June 16th. Registration is not complete until payment is received. No refunds are offered.
