Stearns County To Begin Road Reconstruction Project

Stearns County will begin a road reconstruction project Monday, May 11. The project will extend from the northern limits of County Road 14 to the city of St. Martin.

Pavement removal and erosion control will be among the first phases of work. County State Aid Highway 12 will be closed between St. Martin and County Road 14. Dates and timeframes are weather-dependent, with a planned completion date of September 25. Dates and timeframes are weather-dependent.

Motorists traveling through work zones should use caution and expect delays. Those who can are asked to avoid the construction area entirely. The county has established a detour route, available to view here.
