(KNSI) — Effective May 1st, the Stearns County Highway Department is lifting seasonal road restrictions.
Posted axle weight limits will no longer be in effect on county roads starting at 12:01 a.m. County officials say cooperation and compliance with posted legal limits are needed to minimize unnecessary damage to roads.
A full map of affected roads is available at the Stearns County website, by emailing highway@stearnscountymn.gov, or by calling 320-255-6180.
Statewide seasonal load limit information is available here.
