Le Sauk Township Home Destroyed by Fire Tuesday Afternoon

(KNSI) — No one was hurt, but a home north of Sartell was destroyed by fire Tuesday afternoon.

The Stearns County Sheriff’s Office says deputies and the St. Stephen Fire Department responded around 3:20 to a structure fire on the 39000 block of County Road 1 in Le Sauk Township. The house was fully engulfed when crews arrived, and it is considered a total loss.

The homeowners got out safely.

Several agencies assisted at the scene, including the Sartell Police and Fire Departments, the Rice Fire Department, the Sauk Rapids Fire Department, the Holdingford Fire Department, and Mayo Ambulance.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
