St. Cloud Man Killed in Rollover Crash Near St. Joseph

(KNSI) – A 22-year-old St. Cloud man was killed in a rollover crash near St. Joseph.

The Stearns County Emergency Communications Center received a crash detection call near 7855 Mullen Road around 3:10 Friday afternoon. Moments later, a passerby called to report a vehicle had rolled at that location and that someone was pinned underneath.

First responders raced to the scene, but the driver was deceased when they arrived. The driver has been identified as Cody Christopher Strong.

According to investigators, Strong was headed east on Mullen Road when he lost control in the curves. His vehicle went off the road into the south ditch before he overcorrected, crossed the roadway, entered the north ditch, and rolled. Strong was partially ejected from the vehicle.

The crash remains under investigation by the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office.
