(KNSI) – A St. Joseph flower farm and a Sauk Rapids cooking studio are pairing up this spring for a series of events that combine food and locally grown flowers.
The Culinary Studio and Sunny Mary Meadow announced a joint event series called Brunch + Blooms on April 11th and May 16th. The events will be held in Sunny Mary Meadow’s Bloom Room, a recently opened space on the farm designed for workshops and small group gatherings. The April event is themed as a tulip tea party, and the May event is styled around the Kentucky Derby.
Michelle Massman, co-owner of The Culinary Studio, said the partnership developed organically. “We’re both focused on creating memorable, hands-on experiences,” Massman said. “Bringing food and flowers together felt like the perfect way to celebrate spring and offer something truly unique to the community.”
Each event includes a cooking demonstration, seasonal tastings, a spring mocktail and a take-home bouquet made with flowers grown on-site. Tickets are $95.
