(KNSI) — The St. Cloud Fire Department performed another daring rescue after two people were pulled from a burning home early Friday morning.

According to a critical incident report, firefighters were called to a house fire on the 1100 block of 11th Avenue Southeast just before 2:25. They arrived and found heavy flames on the main floor on the back side. Witnesses told them that one person had escaped, but others were trapped inside. Crews went in and found very high heat and no visibility, but quickly rescued two people who were rushed to CentraCare St. Cloud Hospital for treatment.

The fire spread through the home and into the attic. It has been deemed unsafe. The cause is under investigation.

This is the third such rescue this month. March 13th, two people were hospitalized after being rescued from their burning home on the 5100 block of 40th Street South. March 22nd, residents were rescued from a large apartment fire.
