(KNSI) – Stearns County Recorder Rita Lodermeier has been named to the Minnesota Association of County Officers Honor Roll, one of the organization’s highest recognitions, for her leadership and contributions to county government.
The honor was presented at the annual MACO conference, which draws officers from all 87 counties. Lodermeier was recognized for her service as MACO President in 2025, a role in which she helped guide the work of county recorders, auditors, treasurers, and finance officers across the state. She has also served as First Vice President and board member, and remains active on multiple MACO committees.
Beyond her executive roles, Lodermeier is a longtime contributor to the Minnesota County Recorders Association (MCRA), where she has helped shape policy discussions and advance best practices for the profession.
The MACO Honor Roll recognizes individuals who demonstrate exceptional service and commitment to county government. Lodermeier’s induction reflects both her local impact in Stearns County and her broader influence on how counties across Minnesota operate and collaborate.
