(KNSI) – King’s Academy, formerly known as St. Cloud Christian School, is now enrolling students for the 2026–2027 school year as it prepares to open its new Waite Park campus.

From Mary Rademacher

Public tours of the new campus are expected as early as July. The school purchased the former Crafts Direct building in Waite Park in 2024, envisioning a complete reimagining of the space into a Christ-centered learning environment serving students from Preschool through 12th grade.

School officials say the redesigned two-story facility will be a significant upgrade from the school’s current footprint. Plans call for double the number of classrooms, enough to serve more than 500 students, along with a full-size gymnasium, a new cafetorium for chapels and performances, and expanded green space for outdoor education.

Specialized instructional areas are also part of the design, aimed at broadening hands-on learning opportunities across grade levels.
King’s Academy has served Central Minnesota families for more than 45 years. For more information, click here.
