Emergency Water Repair to Close Stretch of 11th Avenue South Wednesday

(KNSI) – Drivers in the area should plan ahead as 11th Avenue South will be closed to through traffic on Wednesday beginning at 9:00 a.m.

The closure, ordered by the City Engineer’s Office, will affect the stretch of 11th Avenue South between 19th Street South and 22nd Street South.

The closure is the result of an emergency water repair. City crews will work to complete the necessary repairs as quickly as possible to minimize disruption to the traveling public.

Residents and commuters who regularly use this stretch of road are encouraged to seek alternate routes and allow for additional travel time. The closure is expected to last one day.
