(KNSI) – St. Cloud residents will soon have a new option for traveling to Chicago, Milwaukee, Madison, and the Twin Cities without driving.

Starting Thursday, February 12th, FlixBus will begin twice-daily service from a stop in front of the Metro Bus Transit Center at 510 1st Street South. The intercity bus service will run seven days a week, connecting St. Cloud to its existing Chicago-Minneapolis route.

The addition means travelers can reach destinations like the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Milwaukee Mitchell Airport, and downtown Chicago directly from St. Cloud. The service also provides connections to Minneapolis and other cities along the route.
