(KNSI) – A man was rushed to the hospital after his SUV hit a driveway approach, launching him 100 feet.
According to the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, a 65-year-old man from Watkins was driving on County Road 141 in Rockville when he went off the side of the road. The 2005 Ford Expedition then hit the driveway approach, flew through the air, and crashed into the ground and a tree. The crash happened around 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
The man was the only person in the vehicle and was taken by ambulance from the scene. Deputies say he suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
