(KNSI) — After shoveling through more than 6,750 submissions, the Minnesota Department of Transportation narrowed the list of suggestions for its Name a Snow Plow contest to 30 finalists.
Music related names include 867-530 Brine, Don’t Flurry Be Happy, Every Day I’m Shovelin’, I Got Friends In Snow Places, LL Cool Blade, and Plowin’ In The Wind to honor Minnesota’s own Bob Dylan. Bob Chillin’ also made the list.
Pop culture related names such as Flurrious George, K Pop Blizzard Hunter, Mission: Impassable, Mr. Plow, O Brother, Where Art Plow?, Life of a Snowgirl, and Walter Whiteout made the list.
Just Scraping By, Oh For Sleet’s Sake, KaPlow!, Lake Snowbegone, and other names with a play on words are some of the other finalists.
Voters can select up to eight winning names by clicking here. The deadline is Friday, February 13th.
