St. Cloud city offices will be closed on Monday in observance of the federal holiday. All federal, state, and county offices will also be closed. Parking meters will not be enforced.
The Great River Regional Library system, which serves Benton, Morrison, Sherburne, Stearns, Todd and Wright counties, announced that all branches, including locations in St. Cloud, Waite Park, Sauk Centre, and surrounding communities, will be closed.

Public and private schools throughout the area will be closed for the holiday.

The United States Postal Service will not deliver regular mail or operate post offices on MLK Day, though Priority Mail Express service will still be available. UPS and FedEx will remain open but may operate with modified services at some locations.

Major banks will be closed, though ATMs and online banking services will remain accessible. The New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq will be closed on Monday.

Most retail stores, shopping centers, restaurants, and gyms will remain open with regular hours, though some independently owned businesses may choose to close or operate on modified schedules.

The 14th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Celebration will be held on Monday at the River’s Edge Convention Center. The event is organized by CreateCommUNITY. More information is available by clicking here.
